  • Proven record of extraordinary achievement in the arts, motion picture, or television industry, documented by internationally recognized awards (e.g., Tony, Grammy, Emmy, Golden Globe, or Oscar).
  • Collaboration with an immigration attorney to prepare alternative evidentiary documents, such as:
  • Evidence of starring roles in distinguished productions or events, promoted in critical reviews, commercial promotions, or media releases.
  • Proof of national or international fame through critical reviews or publications in major newspapers, trade journals, or magazines.
  • Documentation of leading, starring, or essential roles for organizations with distinguished reputations, supported by articles, testimonials, or trade journals.
  • Record of significant commercial or critically acclaimed achievements, evidenced by television or online ratings, or favorable reviews in leading media.
  • Recognition from organizations, government agencies, or expert critics in the applicant’s field.
  • Evidence of a high salary or remuneration for services compared to peers in the applicant’s field.

Family Members

Spouses and unmarried children (under 21) of O-1B Visa holders can accompany them on an O-3 Visa, valid for the same duration as the applicant’s visa and subject to the same limitations.

What is the duration of an O-1B Visa?
The initial stay for an O-1B Visa can be up to three years.
Yes, extensions are possible. USCIS evaluates extensions on a case-by-case basis, granting up to one year per increment with a new Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker.
No, O-3 Visa holders cannot work in the U.S. However, they can study full-time or part-time.
